evaluate the solution
During our project we had to make a few modifications to our arcade game. One of the modifications we had to make on our design was that we had to make "bumpers" on the sides to prevent the ping pong ball from falling in the same point area everytime. another modification we had to make on our initial design was that we had to make more pegs. the reason why we had to make more pegs was to make sure the game would present a challenge to anyone who plays it.
present the solution
During our project, teamwork was very important in order to accomplish our task of building a cardboard arcade game. My partner and I had assigned each other different tasks in order to finish our project on time. For example, one of the tasks were cutting out pieces of cardboard for the “bumpers”. During the design process we brainstormed some ideas and our top two ideas were “bouncy ball hoop shoot” and “peg drop” by using the decision matrix, we came to a conclusion that we would make the “peg drop”. then we built and tested our new arcade game. One thing I would do differently next time is make sure we have enough materials for a certain project.
